Do Snakes fly?

No, snakes do not fly. However, there is a species called Chrysopelea, or more commonly the flying snakes, that does appear to fly through the air but they are actually gliding. They are found in the rainforests of South and Southeast Asia. Some reasons of why they go airborne include escaping from predators, hunting their prey, and going from one tree to another.
